A Journey from Wellness to Wholeness
300 Hr Yoga Teacher Training with Dina Crosta and Summer Deaver
If you are a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher interested in deepening and fortifying the well from which you teach and consider yourself a dedicated lifelong learner, then this advanced training will offer you a long-form course of deep study and practice.
From patterns to details, from the macro to the micro, we will explore how the modern world of yoga can help transform our personal and communal lives in ways that affect the profound to the mundane and how we can share those practices with the world.
Dina and Summer have almost 4 decades of combined experience in teaching yoga. They have participated in the transition of the yoga world from guru-centric patriarchy, to the science affirming co-creative spiral of inclusivity. They know that a 200 hr training only scratches the surface of what yoga is and so they have been in discussion about this in-depth training since they met 6 years ago. Throughout this learning experience, they will share with the participants various processes that can assist teachers in how to tap into a collaborative space with students in order to guide them to states of awareness often considered difficult to reach alone.
This seasonally oriented training includes 8 weekends with Summer & Dina that will focus on:
The Relationship between energetic anatomy and Functional Bio-mechanics
Intensive practice lead by Summer and Dina in Asana, Breath and Meditation
Observing and Understanding the Elements of Nature and Ayurveda
The Ecology of organizing and facilitating inclusive sacred spaces
Philosophy and Theory from the Bhagavad Gita to Hafiz, Parker Palmer to the Radiance Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika to Pixie Lighthorse
